Jasper Highlights Half-Day Tour
Experience Jasper, the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, on this small-group tour. Your tour guide will pick you up from your Jasper hotel for this half-day sightseeing tour of Jasper National Park.
The first stop on the tour is Maligne Canyon, where 10,000 years of erosion have created the deepest canyon in the Rockies. Begin with a short, easy walk, admiring the Maligne River and its many waterfalls as you cross a series of scenic bridges.
You’ll stop at the disappearing Medicine Lake, followed by the fairytale-like Maligne Lake, where you can take a walk along the shoreline. As you explore Jasper, you’ll have a great chance of spotting wildlife, thanks to the park’s remote location in the Rocky Mountains.
From early June to early October: Opt for a scenic boat tour on Maligne Lake, one of the most iconic and picturesque lakes in Jasper National Park. The highlight of the cruise is a visit to Spirit Island, one of the most photographed locations in the Canadian Rockies.
