There’s nothing quite like basking in a natural hot spring in the heart of the Rockies during a cold Canadian winter day.

On this private day tour from Banff to Lake Louise, we’ll be making stops at Johnston Canyon, Marble Canyon and Morants Curve. Time is available in the afternoon to participate in a dog sled ride, go cross country skiing or rent some skis and go downhill skiing at Lake Louise. Your guide is with you throughout to make every day as magical as it can be.

Awake to the crisp mountain air of Lake Louise. Enjoy breakfast at one of the fantastic restaurants that overlook the lake. Take a walk out on the lake, or perhaps rent some skates and participate in a Canadian tradition; Pond Hockey before embarking to Yoho National Park and other landmarks. Cross the Great Divide, enter Yoho National Park and visit Emerald Lake and the Kicking Horse River. Return to Lake Louise in the late afternoon after a spectacular half day of sightseeing. An opportunity to cross country ski at Emerald Lake is available, should you wish to do so. Spend the night at the world-famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Aboard a private tour vehicle, travel north up the Icefields Parkway through the natural splendor of Banff and Jasper National Parks, renowned as the most beautiful highway in Canada, if not the world. Glaciated peaks tower breathtakingly along the roadside. The panorama of snow-capped peaks and endless mountain ridges occasionally opens up to afford a spectacular view of deep tree-covered valleys stretching to a distant horizon. Crisp blue skies offer unique and fantastic photo opportunities. Your guide will stop for a few photo opportunities at the pristine Bow Lake, Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls, prior to arriving at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for the night. The hotel offers many amenities, but one of our favorites is ice skating on Mildred Lake. Your guide can take you out and show you around.

Embark on a half day private tour of one of the most spectacular areas of Jasper National Park. The first stop is at Maligne Canyon where 10,000 years of erosion have created a 49-meter deep gorge. Feel free to marvel at the canyon and the frozen waterfalls. From the canyon continue to the frozen lakes of Jasper, “mysteriously” disappearing Medicine Lake and then to Maligne Lake for a nice photo stop.
