Enjoy the ferry ride in the morning and relax to the gentle sway and sound of the ocean as you journey from Vancouver to Nanaimo. The group tour begins in Nanaimo where you’ll be transferred to the west coast of the island. After checking in to your accommodation, feel free to walk along the beach or just sit and watch the waves crash along the shoreline.

Travel north by boat to the spectacular setting of Hot Springs Cove. A brief hike takes you to natural thermal hot springs that pour out of the rocks and spill into the Pacific Ocean. After relaxing in the hot springs and eating a picnic lunch, we make our way back to the boat where we can view sea lions, harbour seals, bald eagles, and much more. Once back on land, we head to the coastline where we walk beneath the forest canopy and along the spectacular coastline abundant with birds and whales.

After enjoying some free time to explore the beaches and tidal pools, you have the choice to paddle around the waters of Ucluelet or surf the world-famous beaches of the Pacific West Coast. On our way back to Nanaimo, we stop at Cathedral Grove where we will spend time walking amongst the ancient cedars and Douglas firs of this dense rainforest. Transfer to Victoria in the evening. Overnight in Victoria
